This chilled raw dessert is perfect for a summer evening! You don’t have to stray from your raw-some lifestyle to satisfy a sweet tooth, quell chocolate cravings, or indulge in some dessert therapy. We’ve all been there, diving into a decadent dessert to try and soothe stress in spite of it being bad for the body. This raw recipe could the perfect solution: in addition to being delicious, its nutritious bananas and cacao are actually proven stress fighters! Bananas contain high levels of tryptophan, which your body converts into serotonin, known to help alleviate depression and promote relaxation. Cacao (raw chocolate) is rich in muscle-relaxing magnesium and stress-busting amino acids. AND it is also thought to be an aphrodisiac.

- 2 cups Cashews
- ½ cup Cacao Powder
- 4 tbsp Coconut Oil
Preparation: In blender, grind cashews to a fine powder. Add cacao & coconut oil, blend until all incorporated. Press mixture into 8-inch pan with removable bottom. Refrigerate.
- 1 cup Coconut Nectar
- 1 cup Cacao Powder
- ½ cup Coconut Butter (softened)
Preparation: Whisk all ingredients in bowl, and allow to sit several minutes for thickening. Spread evenly over crust. Refrigerate while preparing cream filling.
- 1 ½ cup Cashews (soaked 8-12 hours)
- ½ cup Coconut Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Powder
- ¼ cup Coconut Milk
- 1 cup packed Coconut Meat (from a young Thai coconut)
- 2 medium Bananas (sliced)
- 1 Lemon (juiced)
Preparation: Set aside lemon juice and bananas. Process all other ingredients in food processor, until smooth. Stop motor as needed to scrape excess from sides. Pour mixture in bowl. In a separate bowl, toss sliced bananas in lemon juice. Gently fold bananas into cream mixture, pour over crust.
- 2 Bananas (sliced)
- 2 tbsp Shaved Coconut
Top pie with shaved coconut and sliced bananas. Chill for about an hour, in freezer. (Pie must remain chilled to hold its shape.)
